Andrew Paul Reasoner
In memory of Andrew Paul Reasoner
1973-2007
At the end
of 2007, the McKenzie River Trust lost one of its staff members to
cancer. Andy Reasoner, our Conservation Director since April 2005, passed
away peacefully at home on December 25th. He is survived by his wife
Amy, unborn daughter Ava, step-daughter Erin
and a very large, loving family.
A native Oregon and outdoorsman, Andy was passionately
committed to a future in which all of those that follow us will be able to
enjoy the natural areas and fish and wildlife that grace us today. That passion
carried through his fisheries work with ODFW, his wetlands conservation work
with Ducks Unlimited, and most recently with all that he did for the
Trust.
Andy had a special mix of land conservation field experience, a deep-rooted land ethic, and a natural ability to make others comfortable in his presence. A friend to everyone he met, Andy will be missed greatly and his unique character not soon forgotten.
