Eugene Celebration 2008 Parade

Saturday September 13th 

Eugene Celebration 2008 Parade!  Come join MRT and support our participation in the Eugene Celebration Parade! The parade is part of the 26th annual Eugene Celebration September 12 to 14, 2008. Swimming salmon, delightful costumes, a water float, and many MRT supporters will compile our troupe this year! Bring a chair to your favorite corner of the parade route and root us on!

When: September 13th, morning

Where: Downtown Eugene (see parade map when published)

Long Tom Watershed Council Annual Celebration

Saturday September 20th 

Long Tom Watershed Council 2008 Annual Meeting & Celebration! Help celebrate the accomplishments of the Long Tom Watershed Council in restoration and partnerships! BBQ, awards, tour, hay ride, auction!

Green Island Naturalist Tour

Sunday September 21st 

Join MRT staff and two expert naturalists for an insightful tour of Green Island! Saunter through the diverse plant communities and wildlife habitats found throughout Green Island. Please RSVP by September 18th. Space is limited.

National Public Lands Day with WREN

Saturday September 27th 

Service with WREN for National Public Lands Day, 2008! Free! Volunteers are needed to plant bulbs, remove invasive species, and help clean up Amazon Creek in celebration of National Public Lands Day. Volunteers will be rewarded with a free poster, T-shirt from WREN, coupon for admission to a national park, a lunch, and the satisfaction of working to improve our public lands alongside fellow
community members! 

When: September 27th, 9 AM to 11:30 AM

Where: Stewart Pond Natural Area
