McKenzie River Trust is partnering with the McKenzie Watershed Council to host a tour of Phase II of the South Fork McKenzie River Floodplain Enhancement Project. Join us to learn about a relatively new approach (“Stage 0”) to restoring habitat at a valley-scale while touring recently completed habitat enhancement projects on the South Fork. The tour will take place on an unimproved and muddy trail, through downed trees and slash, so sturdy boots are highly recommended. Registration opens one month before tour.
