- [Pat McDowell](https://mckenzieriver.org/staff/pat-mcdowell/): Pat McDowell came to Oregon in 1982 when she joined the faculty of University of Oregon\. From 1982 to 2025, she taught and did research on rivers, landforms, and water resources in all parts of Oregon and elsewhere\. She feels very lucky to have had such a wonderful landscape to study and teach about, including taking hundreds of students on field trips to all corners of the state\. Much of her research, funded by federal, state and tribal agencies, focused on effects of human impacts and climate change on river systems, and river and floodplain restoration\. She has served on the McKenzie River Trust Lands Committee since 2008\. In retirement she has continued her service on advisory committees of the Long Tom Watershed Council, Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries, U\.S\. National Academy of Sciences and other organizations, squeezing in some fun time for hiking, traveling, and cooking\. She has bachelors and masters degrees from Illinois Institute of Technology, and a doctorate in Geography from University of Wisconsin\-Madison\.

- [Kevin Chambers](https://mckenzieriver.org/staff/kevin-chambers/): While studying for his Telecommunications/Journalism degree at the University of Oregon, Kevin took a part\-time job working at Of Grape \& Grain \(Oregon’s second retail fine wine operation\)\. That began a lifelong career in the Oregon wine industry\. After serving in marketing, sales and management positions at some of Oregon’s largest wineries, he purchased Oregon Vineyard Supply and Results Partners in late 1997\. Kevin sold those businesses to the employees in 2009, and stepped down as CEO in 2012\. In 1990, he and his spouse Carla purchased the property that would become Resonance Vineyard west of Carlton, OR\. After raising their family there, they sold that vineyard to Maison Louis Jadot of Beaune, France in 2013\. They took those proceeds and purchased land high in the Eola\-Amity Hills to develop Koosah \(Koo\-saw\) Farm, a permaculture vineyard and orchard operation exploring the microbiome extremes of elevation, slope, rock, wind and clonal variety to create new specimens of Oregon Chardonnay and Pinot noir\. At the end of 2021, they sold Koosah Farm to Jadot\. In retirement, they maintain homes in Yachats and McMinnville\. Kevin is a fifth\-generation Oregonian born to farming families from Amity and Salem\. He’s excited and honored to now be working in land preservation, stewardship, and rematriation with the
McKenzie River Trust\.

Stephanie Quinn\-Davidson is a fisheries scientist and has worked in salmon fisheries for over a decade\. Her work focuses on protecting and sustaining fisheries and those who depend on them, and elevating Indigenous perspectives and voices in cultural and natural resource policy, management, and advocacy\.
