Alison is serving as a “Student Scholar” while attending the University of Oregon for her Master’s of Nonprofit Management Degree. She has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Geography from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and has spent the last several years living in the woods building trails, working as a wildland firefighter in the Great Basin, and attempting to be a ski bum. In her free time, she loves trail running with her bird dog and playfully bickering with her fiancé, Zach. She is excited to help the MRT continue protecting the McKenzie River and the beautiful watershed that she now calls home, while learning about how the MRT makes the magic happen.
