– Restoration Projects Manager
Christer received a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon in 2002. He grew up on the beaches of Rhode Island, the forests of the Berkshires, and has lived in almost all of the New England states. Christer worked for the Long Tom and McKenzie Watershed Councils most recently, focused on helping manage riparian/floodplain, oak habitat, and upland and wet prairie habitat restoration projects. Prior to that, he worked for The City of Eugene’s Natural Resource Section working on both upland habitat restoration projects and on trails planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the Ridgeline Trail and other trails in and around Eugene. Christer enjoys hiking, gardening, arboriculture, reading, kayaking, sports (go Red Sox!), and spending time with his family.
