Whitney Randall
Land Steward
Whitney joined the McKenzie River Trust team in 2022 as a Land Steward. Over the past decade, Whitney has worked on conservation projects with a focus on botany, fire, and trails for the US Forest Service on the Willamette National Forest and Rogue River-Siskiyou. Before that, she worked on several large riparian restoration projects in Utah and Colorado along the Escalante, San Juan, Colorado, and Green Rivers where much of her work included long raft trips and backcountry camping.
Outside of work, Whitney dedicates her time to projects that focus on environmental justice and access to nature. On the weekends, she can be found botanizing along a forested trail with her partner and dog, rafting in her packraft, rock climbing, or gardening.
