We're hiring: Bookkeeper
McKenzie River Trust is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This newly established full-time position will play an important role in keeping our financial systems accurate, organized, and running smoothly so our staff can stay focused on protecting and caring for lands and waters across western Oregon.
The Bookkeeper manages day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, reconciliations, grant accounting, financial reporting, and budget administration. They will work closely with our Director of Finance and staff across the organization.
Location: Eugene, Oregon, with hybrid work options
Status: Full-time, exempt
Salary: $65,000–$75,000, depending on experience
We’re looking for someone with at least three years of progressively responsible bookkeeping or accounting experience. Nonprofit accounting experience is strongly preferred.
