Jason Johnson

Jason Johnson has called Eugene home since 2006. An avid outdoorsman, he spends much of his time fly fishing Oregon’s rivers and traveling to fish waters across the U.S.
Jason is the Founder and Lead Advisor of BOSSTORQUE, a strategy and technology advisory firm that helps owner-led construction and field-service businesses build cleaner operations, reduce waste, and run more resilient systems. He began his career as an Army Officer in the 25th Infantry Division and has spent more than two decades in technology and business leadership.
A longtime Grateful Dead devotee, Jason is a member of the Grateful Dead Scholars Caucus and a two-time presenter. He holds an MBA from UCLA and an M.A. in English Literature from East Tennessee State University; his master’s thesis was titled Zen for Americans: A Poetic Rendering in Gary Snyder’s Turtle Island. He lives in downtown Eugene with his wife, Sulwyn.
