Blue River Conservation Easement

In the late 1990’s, a private landowner placed this parcel for sale. Since it is so close to the town and river of the same name, the community asked for support to keep this land protected. A generous supporter purchased the land and donated the conservation easement to McKenzie River Trust. The Blue River Conservation Easement is the second conservation easement that McKenzie River Trust added to our portfolio of protected places.
