Ann Fidanque has been a supporter of McKenzie River Trust since 1992 and has lived in Eugene for 45 years. She is a retired educator and curriculum author, who taught in the Eugene, Bethel and Cottage Grove school districts over the course of her career. She especially focused on improving the literacy of students in Title 1 schools. Since retiring, she has served on several non-profit boards and has volunteered in various leadership capacities. Ann and her husband enjoy hiking, rafting, and kayaking in Oregon’s wild and scenic areas. She is drawn to MRT because of her love for the McKenzie River and because MRT is leading efforts to restore historical river habitats that are critical to our survival.
