John Trimble

Restoration Projects Manager

John is a geologist who focuses on fluvial geomorphology, field mapping, lidar digital terrain modeling, and Stage-zero restoration. He was born and raised in Tennessee and educated at Sewanee: The University of the South, The University of Wyoming, and Oregon State University (Go Beavs!). John has worked as a geologist on projects in Oregon, Alaska, Argentina, Wyoming, Montana, Georgia, Texas, Arkansas, and Arizona. His passion for conservation is matched only by his love for stratovolcanoes, fault scarps, and regional tectonics. After work, you can find him mountain biking, surfing, and paddle boarding.
