Julia joined the Trust in the fall of 2016. Born and raised in Eugene, she spent most of her life exploring the watersheds of the Pacific Northwest from mountain peaks to ocean beaches. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Oregon. After graduating, she studied the towering redwoods of Northern California, and followed Chinook salmon migrating up coastal rivers. Julia is continually inspired by the collaborative atmosphere of land trusts and their ability to make conservation progress on the ground. In her free time she can be found wandering curiously through temperate rain forests or competing nationally with her Ultimate Frisbee team.
