Kristi joined McKenzie River Trust as a Philanthropy Advisor in 2023. A lifelong Oregonian, Kristi grew up scouting and fishing with her Dad and Pop, developing a curiosity and deep appreciation for the natural world. Kristi received a BS in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon and played varsity women’s soccer for the Ducks. The majority of her professional experience has been at nonprofits, most recently at the University of Oregon where she was a major gifts officer and director of development. She is excited to work with people to connect to the land and better protect and restore our local habitats. Her favorite pastimes include camping, hiking, and kayaking with her family, macramé, amateur urban farming, and attempting to learn the banjo.
