Linda Carnine is a retired educational consultant/ remedial reading program developer who has worked in under-privileged communities across the US, especially on Native American reservations. She also served as a special education director/building administrator in Lane County for nearly 20 years. Linda first fell in love with MRT when the Trust saved forestland across from their land-lease cabin on the McKenzie River nearly 30 years ago. For the last dozen years she and her husband have been involved in a variety of conservation efforts in Lane County.
